The Commission is recruiting professionals for the positions of Counterfeit Surveillance Officer II (Law Enforcement) and Information Communication Technology Officer II (Computer System Security). Position 1: Counterfeit Surveillance Officer II (Law Enforcement)
About the Role
The Counterfeit Surveillance Officer II will support the Commission’s efforts to detect, investigate, and prevent the distribution of counterfeit products across Tanzania. The successful candidate will participate in enforcement operations, conduct market inspections, gather intelligence, and work with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with anti-counterfeit laws.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will conduct inspections at entry points, Inland Container Depots (ICDs), warehouses, retail shops, and other locations where counterfeit products may be stored or distributed. The role also involves carrying out market surveillance, collecting and analyzing field data, preparing operational reports, and supporting enforcement activities.
Additional responsibilities include participating in inspection and raid operations, seizing suspected counterfeit goods, collecting samples for laboratory analysis, working closely with legal enforcement teams, and performing other duties related to counterfeit prevention and consumer protection.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement from a recognized institution.
Position 2: Information Communication Technology Officer II (Computer System Security)
About the Role
The Information Communication Technology Officer II will support the management and security of the Commission’s information systems while contributing to the development, maintenance, and protection of ICT infrastructure. The successful candidate will help ensure the availability, reliability, and security of digital services that support the Commission’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes supporting information systems analysis, maintaining ICT infrastructure, implementing information security measures, and assisting with the development of technology strategies. The successful candidate will also contribute to maintaining the Commission’s public information systems, implementing disaster recovery plans, monitoring ICT performance, and preparing technical reports.
Additional duties involve providing timely technical support, recommending system improvements, supporting library information services where required, and ensuring that ICT systems operate securely and efficiently.
