About the Role
The Office Management Secretary II will provide administrative and secretarial support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing office correspondence, maintaining confidential records, coordinating appointments, and supporting communication between departments while ensuring that office procedures are carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will maintain records of file movement and ensure proper filing and indexing of confidential documents. They will prepare and distribute official documents by typing, downloading, printing, and forwarding correspondence to relevant officers.
The role also includes receiving and directing telephone calls, responding to emails and other communications, organizing appointments and schedules, drafting official correspondence, maintaining office records and computer-based information, and ensuring that office equipment under their responsibility is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Form IV Certificate (Certificate of Secondary Education Examination).
- A Diploma in Secretarial Studies (NTA Level 6) from a recognized institution.
- A qualification in English and Swahili shorthand with a minimum speed of 80 words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Internet, and Email applications.
- Good communication skills in both English and Swahili.
Experience
Candidates should have at least one (1) year of relevant working experience in office administration, secretarial services, or a related field.
Salary
Successful candidates will receive remuneration according to the TARURA Salary Scale.

- Be Tanzanian citizens aged 45 years or below.
